Day Two - Morning

Looks like things are getting back to normal and plans are to get the convention back on schedule. Had breakfast this morning with the Vermont delegation and heard from several speakers. The most prominent speakers during our breakfast were Carly Fiorina, former CEO of Hewlett Packard (also once briefly mentioned as a possible VP pick), and Andy McCain, John McCain’s son from his first marriage (also who is successful business man in his own right). They and the rest of speakers spoke about John McCain the man, relating more of his personal story. A couple members of our delegation will be late to the convention so they swapped credentials with Alex and I. I will be on the actual floor for the first couple of hours of the convention tonight until they arrive. Am really looking forward to hearing Fred Thompson speak and am just glad New Orleans was spared so we can get down to business. I will post again this evening after I get back from the convention. Have fun.
