Down in Georgia

Am on the road again for the GOP cause, this time in Atlanta Georgia for the US Senate runoff election. Georgia has a law that the winner of an election must be by a majority, so if you don’t get it than the top two vote getters go head to head in a runoff. The runoff election is between Republican incumbent Saxby Chambliss and Democratic challenger Jim Martin. I am working technically for the RNC via the Georgia Republican Party, so however that works, but all expenses paid plus I’ll make a little bank. Traveling down on black friday was not that bad, and the only problem I had was changing planes in Boston. My connecting plane was late because a professional sports team hijacked it, or borrowed it for something, not sure which team. Anyway it was nearly an hour late, than once we got out to taxi a faulty indicator light kept us on the runway for another hour. Finally made it safe and sound and unlike Minneapolis the hotel has free internet, woohoo. Now have to be up and ready to work by 7:15am, more later.
